When ford wanted something to take on Holden in the late 60s , they seriously thought about bringing the mustang , but the market was too limited for a pony car , we needed a car families could buy , but with a GT badge and power !

And yes the color is called GT Gold lol

And as the years went on it just got tougher , culminating in the phase 3 , hi comp 351 Cleveland claimed 400hp but was pushing quite a bit more in reality , shaker hood too , very sought after

Whether it's American or Aussie , 4 door or coupe , ute whatever , just

I was surprised Chrysler AU pressed its own panels when they introduced the charger and didn't go the US route up til then they basically had the dart body and valiants

Early valiant

And later charger

Ok last one ... early Camaro

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics , and a little taste of Street car scene in Sydney

This wasn't a staged event , it started with 20 -30 cars that went cruising early Sunday mornings and as word got out once a month we met at different venues , now it constantly gets 200-300 cars

This was outside the stadium where the Sydney Olympics where held in 2000

Which was your favourite?

Great pics Kostas, loved them all.

The "thing" is of course a Pontiac but I'm stumped on the model, could it be a Ventura?
