Found this on another site but have not tried it yet.

As you've seen a lot of the linked photos from Photobucket don't work.
This can be fixed by adding in

" ~original "

between the jpg and the [img]

This hack makes the images show again.

Between the beginning [img] or the ending [/ img]? BTW I signed up to pay for use at $5/month which is good until the end of 2018. I believe that option is no longer available.

I stop using pb because of how annoying navigating the site is with their ads! Cool fix.. wonder how long it'll last?

Cool. To display how it should be done, I added a couple of spaces before/after IMG tags in your post to display the code.

it used to be great and fast but got really slow, full of ads and then the third party posting block...

Yeah, Google stopped hotlinking when they dropped Picasa web albums.
Flickr is free and easy to link!!

The issue is that you invest all your time and effort into using one site, then they go freakin' crazy (PB) so then you use another hosting site (Goog) and then find out they don't link.

It's enough to drive you crazy.

And I agree with the previous poster that PB can kiss it! The site is terrible and it's virtually impossible to download an album. I have tons of photos there since around 2010 or so, maybe earlier.

Oh well, I'll find a cure.
