Fake sub
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Rolex-Submar...1%7C240%3A1318
Another ebay idiot. This was kind of a funny read. 100% fake Submariner though, whether the story was true or not. Check out the dials, photo backgrounds and the time on the watch in each photo.

...mmmmmmmm.....
...now John, honey, I am inclined to disagree with you about the watch. It even has a GENUINE band...transitional buckle/clasp with indent/notch. The springbar connectors have the correct contour and even though I cannot totally distinguish the numbers on the endpieces, I beleive the watch and band to be genuine.
...HOWEVER, what I DO beleive, is that this is a SCAM. There are, again, pic's of 2 DIFFERENT watches, one set are most likely stock photos. ...oh, CASPER, wher for art thou??? Stan. |

I agree with John on this one. Clearly at least two different watches pictured. One has a maxi-dial and lug holes, the other one has no lug holes and WG surrounds. I'd guess the picture with the WG surrounds on the dial is someone's stock photo for a 16610. The maxi-dial watch appears to be a fake.

I saw three different watches. While I was reporting the watch I listed all of the faults. I then went back to report it again and it was gone already. Faster than greased lightening.
