So a crazy thing happened at a Rolex A.D. in Ottawa
Hi all, Went to pick up my 1680 Red Sub from an A.D. finally ready from being serviced after 9 weeks; they still have their own factory trained techs on site with quite a labratory. Not sure if I am allowed to mention names, so I won't, but I have to say they did a fantastic job.
Well after picking up the watch, I decided to put a deposit on a brand new GMT BLNR! I was so nervous that my 1680 I had picked up began to feel very tight on my wrist, LOL That being said, I guess I'll be able to start posting in The General Discussion section as well very soon! There is no promise date, but they believe the watch should be available by May 2018, which is fine with me. Cheers everyone

That seems like quite a wait (6 months)... however not sure if that is typical wait times in Canada

From what they are telling me this is the typical wait right now for this item

Congratulations Charles! How about a shot of the 1680 to tide us over?

Congrats!
BLNRs are hard, but not impossible to come by in Canada. My AD had one available over this weekend that wasn't spoken for yet, it sold pretty quickly (I picked up the D-Blue from that shipment.) |

I just hope there is no price change. They could not even guarantee that...

Depends on the dealer in Canada. I got my BLNR in two days from my AD in Windsor who I'm told is one of the largest volume sellers in Canada.

Interesting. I would expect it to be because of buyers from the United States? I can't imagine Windsor having a big market for Rolex. I would have expected it to be one of the ADs in Toronto or Vancouver - but maybe because the demand is spread around in those cities?
