A terrible thing happened at last nights New Years dinner.......
I bought too many Lobsters and couldn't finish them all.
Thanks to my wife's creativity I was served a delicious Lobster omelette for lunch today so all's well that ends well. Happy New Year to all. |

I had that problem with king crab legs the other night. I stuck them in the freezer and we’re having them tonight.

I love lobster, but I find it can only be consumed in small quantities to be enjoyable. So eating it over a couple or more meals is much better than all at one time.
Here it is quite expensive (nearly $50 per pound) from the market and twice that price at a restaurant. Thus I would be lucky to have it once per year.... I'm not complaining though, as I do enjoy prawns more often On 24 December I got $40 of prawns and made a prawn curry. It made 6-7 meals and I just finished the last serve yesterday. Amazing how protein keeps so well in spicy curry
