The black bay black rose dial imo as it’s only produced for 6 months.

The Black Rose is already in the mid to high $3k’s. Give it a few years and it will just go up. Less than 3000 made. Limited for Tudor or Rolex is a big deal because there are way more collectors. I’d follow this up with the Red Black Bay in time.

You should just put this in your signature line, as you seem to mention it in every other post you make

Do you mean modern or vintage Tudors ? . Vintage Tudor submariners are pretty much a safe bet as are the Tudor Chronograph .As for modern references I think the BB rose or Harrods BBlv could be the ones to have .

Well.. maybe but I’ve changed my tune as I recently fell in love with a red black bay eta and I just am over the moon with it whereas before it was black recommendations only. I’m still looking for another black eta as well. They just don’t exist easily anymore. I’ve probably hurt my efforts preaching to the choir. But I do think the Red ETA will soon join the Black ETA’s sought after status albeit on a lesser scale. The blue is hard to pin down. Cool watch but they just seem sterilecompared to the siblings.

I like the Black Bay Steel.
It has red writing on the dial, a date feature and a steel bezel. It also has the in house movement. But as for an investment...I doubt it. If you can buy a Harrods Black Bay at retail price, that may be an investment.

If we are speculating, and we are, I would say the Pelagos LHD.

Many many moons ago, I predicted and was so confident Omega's Seamaster 300 Spectre and Speedmaster Silver Snoopy watches when they were first introduced, would only appreciate in value and will be worth a heck of a lot money in a decade. Did people believe me? Nope! They mocked me for talking about Daniel Craig and Peanuts.
Megan's choices of future Tudor modern classics and collectibility 1# The 0riginal Heritage BB Black ( I call it the John Mayer Edition ) 2# Tudor Harrods Kermit 3# Tudor BB Bronze Blue The Bucherer Edition |

I have a BBB and love it but I’m still a bit unsure about future value. I know of ADs that still have these in their cases...

Well I'd say the Harrod's and the Bucherer in order to be "investment" you'd have to buy them new from the source and hold onto them very clean.
If you buy them secondhand at a markup there goes your margin. You also have to hope Tudor doesn't continue to release limited editions with 4 or 5 more big boy AD's. What's next the Hodinkee Black Bay with purple bezel? Then the Theo and Harris Black Bay with Light Burgundy bezel? Not sure any of the modern stuff is investment potential. Tudors are great to get into at a great price and bring some serious level of watch to the table to wear and appreciate. |

I’ve always thought 2017 marks the start of a big brand push by tudor. If rolex is trying to reposition for higher rrp to make room for tudor growth, I suspect all Tudor’s will be fairly resilient on price and now maybe a good time to buy. But as he said just buy what you like. It is impossible to predict future classics. Nobody really liked or bought daytonas until recent (past 20 years). Never much of a hit from the 60s until late 90s. I suspect Harods bucherer and B.B. rose simply due to limited run |

I think all black bay black, red, blue bezel eta rose logo will be collectible. Black bay Black bezel eta being the most collectible, model 79220N. Now best time to buy as these have not seen any significant price jump yet.

Can you define “collectible?” You can collect anything...are you saying these watches will experience X% increase in selling price? If so how much and when will these prices be realized? |
