Love this. This and the Ultra-Thin PPC are the two stand-outs this SIHH.

This one was leaked to me a few months ago so was looking forward to seeing it. Love it and think it is the best new release as well.

This one looks amazing. I love the colour of the dial, though I’m less thrilled about the smooth bezel

i like this one a lot, however i probably like the SS 15202 better and can't see myself getting this over the the SS if given the chance. Its different for sure, not sure its an improvement on an already perfect watch.

This will be the question, how many will swap? On the WG Sub we hear many claiming they would love a sunburst dial, so will be interesting to see just how the new dial actually looks.

Polished is a bit scary, but not much difference to SS in scratch terms for me, so pure aesthetics should rule. And this would be one I would annually use AP's 4/5 times of polishing.

ive still never seen one in person, but they look to be very shiny and obviously no vertical brushing. Not sure I could give that up as i love the finishing of a RO bezel.

Pricing is $34,800. Going to be a tough call on this one for me...

The Pt polished bezel is also nice in it's own sort of way. I have seen it on the ROC Ti/Pt and it's quite nice. Certainly more eye-catching than the usual brushed finished bezel.
USD? Or CAD?

I think the polished bezel is unique - not sure if it is necessarily better. The brushed/polished bezel of the RO is a pretty important part of the DNA for me. For someone with OCD like me, a fully polished bezel might not be the best idea. |

Yes, scratches will show off more obviously in polished surfaces.

If you can get the 15202IP, you should get it even if you don't want it. This way, you can flip it here for a small profit. I don't want the gray dealers have 50% of the market and jack up the price.

I might be the only one, but I’m pretty neutral on the watch. I get the whole usage of the pt/ti but I still prefer the original stainless steel version a lot more.
And didn’t I recall many werent too much of a fan of the Queens Cup version of the 15400. Similar combo (although silver dial/white dial): https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...nium+royal+oak Why the sudden fancy of this one? Cause it’s the Jumbo? I’m still on the fence until I see it in person. |
