My Most Versatile Rolex

I usually wear my 16710 on oyster or jubilee bracelet and rotate between a Pepsi and Coke bezel. But I recently purchased a leather nato with faded black bezel and it's hard to believe it's the same watch. This watch is so versatile with its different bracelet/strap options and numerous bezel colors. No wonder the values keep on rising.

The GMT is a very versatile sport/casual watch in all iterations.

I suggest you treat that strap with some mink oil to darken it and also to protect it from the elements.

Agree. The options are literally endless and your combination looks beautiful!

Personally, I‘m not quite there, yet, but one day I‘ll put some of my watches on the counter for that GMT II.

Fun timing for me with a this thread. I pulled my GMT out of bank box recently, popped in Black bezel insert, and put it on a Bulang and Sons leather strap. It’s like getting a whole new watch. Mine’s a 16750, so “Pepsi, No Coke”. But with the option for black plus both Oyster and Jubilee bracelets (not to mention Smarty Jones’ custom end links to use with rubber, NATO, etc), this watch is far and away the most versatile that I’ve owned. My absolute favorite Rolex.

Without question the most versatile watch ever produced by Rolex. Doubt there will ever be another like it.

GMTs pound for pound are the best value of the Rolex family in my opinion.

Isn't that overwhelming strap, with bulky leather on the sides, uncomfortable...? Doesn't it get caught up on everything your wrist gets close to...? Do you really think that strap looks good...? Sincere questions. I've never understood a strap with material bunched up on the side of the wrist.
