Andy Garcia's Rolex - What am I looking at here?

Hi gents! I was perusing youtube this morning and came across a video entitled "Will There Be a Godfather 4? | Andy Garcia | Larry King Now - Ora TV". I can't post the link since I'm so new, but at 1:52 I got a glimpse of a really cool watch.

Andy Garcia is rocking what appears to me to be a GMT Master II with an explorer GMT hand. Is this a mod or was this a factory option at some point? Is this even a Rolex or is it something that just looks similar? Apologies if this has been covered before or is common knowledge. As someone who loves GMT Masters and the black-dial explorer this watch really appeals to me. Any info would be appreciated!
