I’m joining the club tomorrow
My local AD called me. They just got the GMT Batman today.
None of their loyal customers had it on their hit list. I called him and will go after my scheduled meetings. I plan on paying with an American Express to get an extra year’s warranty. I guess the biggest question I have is who should I use to insure my new purchase. I’m not a home owner, and I’m about to move to the U.K.? If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. Plan to put the watch on my amex too... once I get the call. If you have plat or above, the three month purchase protection would function similar to insurance.

I know that JM covers damage abroad. If he gets it insured prior to moving to the UK, I think he would be covered. A quick call to them would confirm.

Forget the extra year's warranty, you only want Rolex working on your watch and you have 5 years. Do a search here for UK insurance, lots of threads and reviews.

I would read the reviews of JM. They were a lot more than State Farm for my 5 watch collection. Plus my wife's stuff. |
