Gave up on the Daytona, got a sub instead

Stopped by my AD to tell him to take me off the waiting list for a Daytona C and to my surprise this TT blue Submariner was in the case. It had just come in yesterday and was supposedly already allocated to some one else. But the AD said since I had bought there before and was local I could have it. I did find out that the warranty info is now sent to Rolex before the sale is complete and the sales person insisted on taking off the remaining stickers (most were already off anyway). They also had a Hulk but I liked the blue better.

Beautiful. Lucky you. Bummer for the person it was allocated to, though.

Wow nice. If I were you I would’ve bought the hulk as well for FOMO. A lot of rumors saying that they are going to discontinue the hulk.

Yeah, I thought about that, but for all I know it could have been sales speak to get me to bite. Not that I needed any incentive.

I would have done the same thing. In the end, you bought it fair and square, and got a great watch in the process.

Congratulations on your TT YG/ blue Submariner! They do have a beautiful look. Understand about not waiting for the DaytonaC. Interesting how the ADs handle sales now to curb the grey market. Wear your Sub in good health. Cheers!

Congrats on the pickup!

Are TT Subs now a get-one-if-you-see-one watch?

The DaytonaC is great but this is easily as good! Great pick-up.

Also, you may get a few PM's from people today asking where that LVc is located.
I guess Hurst TX seen as your AD said you were local.

Local in Texas is anywhere within 50, maybe 100 miles. Southlake is where the AD is which is about 45 minutes from me. I talked to the owner for a while about his stock which is primarily PMs of about any series. Even he doesn't understand what Rolex is doing.
