How does this Explorer II look

I am considering purchasing this watch from someone and was curious on your opinions on it's authenticity and price point. It is a 2003 F-Serial Explorer II with a nick on the bottom left lug, but other than that in my humble opinion it looks great. I just wanted your guys thoughts on this before I drop some serious cash on this. It does not come with box or papers, this only alerts me in regards to its authenticity... Does this look legit, what is the most you would pay for this, and is the condition decent?

Appreciate all feedback guys. Really doing me a solid here.

Looks OK from here (as in, authentic). However, I'd want to see a lot more (and better) pics if you are buying it sight-unseen, just to get a better idea on condition.
It's certainly not a safe queen, and the case looks like it *may* have been improperly contoured in some spots, and given an amateur-ish polish job.

Thanks for the feedback! I am buying it online so it will be sight-sunseen, what kind of pics should I request? It has definitely been polished as the seller says that, but he said it's service history is unknown and will likely need a service.

Any idea what it is worth or what you'd pay for it?

I’d say it’s legit based only on the fact the hand stack is correct. This is not something that is easy to copy (not yet anyway). Aside from that the datewheel, mag, sel, and fonts look good too. Would still be nice to have papers though.

Great news! Any news what this thing might be worth? Or what you would pay for it considering the little scratch.

Take a look here - especially look for completed listings in green - its in UK POUNDS, but search is WW.
Thats how I get an appreciation to selling prices
