Real or fake?

Hi guys,

I just got this watch as a heirloom. I have seen its serial number and model number laser on 6 and 12 o clock lug quite neat. Hopefully the watch is real?

Could I know if it's fake or real bracelet? It's a 16018. It has been 20+ years and it's still shiny gold, ticking etc. I plan to take it for RSC if it is real n dont want awkward situation.

Please see pics

Thanks

Watch looks good (thus far nothing obvious jumps out) but bracelet is for sure aftermarket... post more pics of the watch stampings and remove the bracelet if possible... that dial would be correct for a 16018 model...

The watch head itself looks OK at first glance (18k Datejust), but better pics would be helpful to confirm.
The bracelet is definitely aftermarket. Hard to say if it's actually solid or plated.

If you are able, take/post some higer-res pics of the dial (straight-on, with the hands not obstructing any dial print), case back hallmarks, and between the lugs.

One of those Italian aftermarket bracelets, not the end of the world but should be reflected in the price - You're essentially buying a Rolex 'head only' + scrap gold. *Sorry I missed that it's an heirloom. Lucky boy. I'd wear it! Let us know what RSC says. Personally I'd just send the head since the entire bracelet is clearly not Rolex and therefor RSC will do nothing with it.

Head looks good. Bracelet is not Rolex. Really cool heirloom though! I’d throw it on some leather and rock it
