16710 crown with double dash??
Sorry if this has been asked and answered previously, but I can't find a thread link.
I am looking at a 16710 W series and noticed that the crown has a double dash under the coronet. What does that signify as I thought there was only one dash to represent a twin-lock crown system? A friend thinks it might have something to do with the type of metal or it could be the lowest of the water proof ratings, eg: 2 dots is on the gmt’s 3 dots is Subs and Seadwellers Appreciate someone helping me clarify this. |

Looks like a single dash with shadow on top.

That's the standard Twinlock for steel.

I’ve arranged to view tomorrow so I’ll let you know. But I am now thinking shadow. Thanks all.
