Newb Question for PAM #

My watch guy showed me a Panerai Luminor (vague i know) and it has a perfectly horizontal power reserve bar on the bottom of the dial. not sure if it has date.

2nd question: he's quoting me 4100 for it should I take it or leave it

Agreed. The only luminors that have the horizontal indicator are WAY more expensive.

Scammer.

Yep, that would probably be the 8 Day or the 10 Day... Should have a date I believe. Price would be 3.5 to 4 times that.

thanks for replies. its possibly legit, the watch is pretty beat up but nothing a new strap and some polishing can't fix. as for the watch itself, i'll be sure to have it appraised. does anyone know the model number of the watch in question?

Have you checked Panerai.com?

the ones with the horizontal power indicator are the manifattura collection. There aren't many, but seriously, if the deal is too good to be true, then it is.

Is that the best you could come up with for a member name?
