Is this real?

Would someone mind telling me if this watch is real or fake? I’m no expert but after enlarging the photos a few things appears to be off, especially the engraving of the word Rolex. Some have big gaps and some seem crunched together. I’m uncertain if the the serial # placement is correct or not. Thanks for any help.

Endlinks look too big to me. Might be the camera angle though.

The spacing on the rehaut definitely is not consistent, and the crown doesn't look as nicely finished as you'd expect to see. I don't claim to be an expert though.

Lume pip doesn't look like it's perfectly centered either. I'd pass.

Now it looks like the numbers on the bezel are crooked as well. Look at the spacing on the bottom of the "2" and "0" in the 20. You should pass on this.

Faaaaaake

Please report this wherever you found it. This makes me sick to think some unknowing spouse, family member, whoever, could buy this as it’s not a super horrendous replica.

The inner box material is the very first of a number of bad signs that jump out at me. Take a pass on this watch. It is illegal to traffic in items bearing counterfeit trademarks.

It was on Craig’s list. The price seemed to go to be true. They said that a pawn shop offered them $3000 for it and would take offers over $3000 for it.

Find something you like in the for sale section from a trusted seller. You can still find a good deal, and you'll end up with a genuine Rolex.

Yup. And definitely avoid Craig’s list.

thats awesome!!!! and very accurate!! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP the watch advertised is a pile of crap!

And i seriously doubt any pawn shop offered him anything other than a "please take your counterfeit pile of crap out of the store" comment

With the advance of the internet im sure most pawn shops well and truly do their checks to make sure
1- they dont get ripped off
2- they dont get caught selling illegal goods(counterfeit)

seller is a scammer plain and simple

Thanks for coming up with a perfect algorithm for these kind of scenarios. Great work!
