White dial sport. Iwc vs omega
Hi guys, looking to grab a white dial sports daily wear.
Looking between 2 watches but open to suggestions. Iwc aquatimer 329004. Its more silver dial from what I've read but looks white, haven't seen it in person. Omega great white, white dial and a gmt. I would grab a explorer2 polo pr but I already have it in black. So if I go great white I will have another gmt but in a white dial vs aquatimer that has a sleeker bezel. What you guys think? |

Guessing at what you’re budgeting for, I’d go for a different IWC.
Both Ingenieurs, the 323904 (not the 6, the RG hands look woeful on it) or the 323402 Otherwise, my preferred rotating bezel options would be the: Chopad L.U.C. Pro One Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk II Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver – no-one does lume better! If the Ingenieur’s integrated bracelet wasn’t something you liked, but it doesn’t have to have a rotating bezel, then I’d look at the Cartier Calibre De Cartier or this G-P Chronograph – okay, it’s not exactly white… but that central minutes counter! |

Generally a fan of Aquatimers, but I prefer the last 3568 generation with the external sapphire bezel to the new "hump-cased" models...though with the old ones you get an ETA rather than in-house movement...
All that aside they are super rugged, quality pieces. the regular white> orange /white limited version: |

IWC hands down. I have never considered the white though but i really like the blue and black dials.

An AD in Oz (IWC & Omega) recommended Omega stating IWC service is a nightmare.
As for looks they are both very nice. I prefer the Omega hands.

Since you're open to suggestions, have you checked out the white Sinn 104? Very cool piece.

IWC for me. The crown guard and bracelet appear a bit dated, for my eyes, with the Omega. The version Megan shared appears fresher, but almost feels like homage to the explorer ii.

well, if we're including Sinn, the U1 is about as bulletproof as a watch can get...
That said, the white version is not massively attractive....and getting less so the more I look at it.... lets forget I ever mentioned it... IWC FTW |

First choice is Rolex Explorer II Polar.
Second choice is the Omega Megan posted. |

I like the Omega. For the price it is hard to beat.
