Royal Oak Chrono

HI guys.

I'm looking to chop my BLNR in and add cash to enter the AP world.

looking at a preowned royal oak chronograph in steel.

Watchfinder are selling a 2015 model for £16,250.

i have always viewed watch finder as inflated prices, what sort of money would i be looking at for a similar watch, or are watch finder in the ball park area?

Have you considered the new chrono?
I’m a big fan of the dials, also they have better pushers (no need for screw down)

It might cost a bit more upfront, but a 5 year warranty on a AP chrono is a must!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, what do you mean by the “better pushers”?

On the older style ROC's the pushers needed to be unscrewed first to activate the chrono. The latest version you can just push the pusher to activate the chrono. Much easier and more convenient.

Nah, Panda trumps everything for me, and I prefer it to the Owl dials of the 26320 and Daytona.

WF price can maybe be knocked down £500. Otherwise try the other big greys, Watchclub, watchcentre , Blowers etc.

I paid a similar amount (can't remember exactly but think it was 16200) for a March 2016 one in November of last year from an independent, so it doesn't seem a million miles off, especially if you can knock them down a little. Mine had never been polished and was in really good condition which was a bit of a factor. Good luck

Someone said that before and I don't see it at all. I mean I could see if they touched each other or even if the portion was correct with MM head being bigger and ears smaller but again seems like a big stretch. I recently just got that dial. Dial looks amazing.

I have seen the new ROC blue, black, white and blue/rg on strap all in person, and they are amazing. There is nothing Mickey Mouse about that watch.

They are more impressive in person than the 15400, which itself is a stunner.

Ugh, don’t tell me that. I have a 15400, and I’m lusting after a 26331.
