Wow that is truly unbelievable. First of all I cannot believe they frauded the guy by charging him for services that were not rendered but then drive a customer car to pick up fast food. Unreal.

wow. I watched the whole thing.

I saw something similar with a very limited challenger (I think it was a challenger) once.

It would piss me off to no end.

And then the service rep blamed him????? smh

lmao. I am quite sure he is.

however, my guess is that he doesn't have to work with these guys anymore. I am assuming the are currently unemployed.

Was the Challenger 1 where the owners saw the service reps driving it around town and videoed them?

Yes. That’s exactly the one.

They confronted the guy at a drive thru.

Seems like typical behavior, its just how the business is. The guys picked up ice-cream on a road test after the oil change. How much blood can you really call for? lol i doubt any service department would let a tech go because of running to the drive thru.

Is a road test required for this 10 minute oil change service?

The point im trying to make is that all of our cars are subject to things like this when you drop them off for service. They went for icecream. This is nothing!! lol

My point is that they shouldn't be doing anything not prescribed in the service without the owners approval. If a 10 minute oil change doesn't require a road test, they shouldn't be out driving the car around. They can screw off in the dealership's inventory if they need to go joy riding in an S63 for ice cream.

If they didn't do the whole service in that 11 minutes, the dealership should be talking to some lawyers about defending their fraud case.

I think it is a fraud case since they charged him for a transmission service that never happened.

According to this logic I should be wearing customers Rolex watches out to dinner, diving, washing the car, etc etc etc. No, just no. I'd demand a few things from this dealer.

1 - Full refund.
2 - They pay for the service at a shop I request.
3 - They pay for an interior detail at business of my choosing.

Bare minimum. Because, this video on Youtube will do the rest of the punishing.

EDIT: Sorry Abdullah71601, I didn't mean to quote you originally.

Nope, never. I used to be a Porsche tech way back in the day and I never took a 911 for a test drive for a simple oil change. Oil leak, sure, it would be wrong not to, but a simple change of oil doesn't require anything but starting it and checking for leaks.

To play devil's advocate, I wonder if it's normal to drive all cars just to see if there is anything wrong? These guys obviously didn't give a damn, but it might be a normal thing to do to see if other problems exist once it is in for service.

If that was my car, I’d be having a real heavy conversation with the service manager.

With today’s Porsche’s they have to be driven after an oil change to verify the level since it’s all electronic. Pretty sure we are NOT better off with out our dipsticks.
