Hi All,

Looking for suggestions on a tool to remove links. I find that the standard tools can easily scratch the watch/bracelet.

Any recommendations?

+1 on the 2100 screwdriver

I bought mine off eBay as part of a Sea Dweller kit (wallet, screwdriver, spare link) from a seller in Taiwan. $126.50 shipped and then I re-sold the kit (minus the screwdriver) and netted $50 on that sale to off set the screwdriver price.

That doesn't appear to have the hollow ground tip on the driver; I wouldn't use it if this is true. Too likely to damage the fastener/stud.

Rolex 2100 is the best but Panerai Screwdriver (1.6mm) works fine also.

I've use it plenty of times and have not damaged a screw on my SubC, Explorer, DaytonaC, or my wife's DJ.

The Panerai screwdriver works perfectly! I bought it off ebay recently.

Any tips on removing the bracelet and links? I would think they would have a tool that can take off both sides of the pin simultaneously.

I've seen the Rolex 3200 on various forums in the past, haven't used it myself.

Since I couldn't get a Rolex 2100, I use a WiHa Pico finish screwdriver, 1.8mm for my GMT2. I've broken a couple of Bergeon tips so I'm not a fan.

After 15 years of searching for the perfect screwdriver I recently bought a 2100 for $120 as part of a Sea-Dweller extension kit.

Assumed I was wasting my money but it's likely the very best for any Rolex bracelet screws - old or new.

dont forget the screws also have loctite on them from the factory, all the more reason to use the right screw driver

i learned this the hard way, i used a generic screw driver and gouged the screws and a tiny bit of one link

i think the screws are cheap, i will probably replace them if i sell one of my watches

I would heat up the bracelet with a blow dryer before removing the screws with loctite.
