$1,000,000 Gold Coin

So I just found out today, that Canada has a gold coin, made of 99.9999% Solid 24k gold that's legal currency valued at $1,000,000. Its weighs a whopping 100 Kilograms, or about 225-ish pounds. You can order one of this massive coins for somewhere between 2.5 and 3 million dollars.

I can just imagine some guy being like

"I would like to purchase your house. here is a massive coin"

or maybe going into a corner store and asking for change

There are only currently 5 of these in existence. This is a perfect example why it remains very important that I am NEVER rich...I would buy one of these in an instant

I've actually seen one. It's so big, it really looks fake.
Put one of those in your pocket

mmm... interesting, so you'd spend $2.5 to $3 mill to buy gold worth about $1 mill?

Its a better deal then spending 20 grand on a gold Rolex that only actually has about $2500 worth a gold in it

but who's really going to spend that thing as actual currency?

Imagine a couple of those jingling about in your pocket as loose change, they could really do some damage.
