“Collection” update
After a few deals the family went from this:
To this: I do miss the Sub LV but 5 digit reference bracelets never fit me right... The FOIS is also missed, but I wanted something I could swim with... So, here it is! I’d like to add a Nautilus, but at current prices the chances are slim to none.

“Collection” update
Good collection. All bases covered. If it was me I would have kept the speedy and the Kermit. Nevertheless it is very cool. Enjoy them in great health

Like the swap on the AP. Definitely should have kept the Kermit.

Very nice collection!! Seems well thought out. Like that you have something for every occasion. I would perhaps have kept the Kermit instead of Omega though (ok fit is perhaps a problem..) or changed to a JLC Polaris Date (too similar to Aquanaut..).. no it's perfect.
How are you thinking regarding what pieces you have in your collection? Do you have one-brand-one-watch rule or? How come you got rid of the two chronographs? Don't like the complication anymore? |

Nice collection, but I'm curious why you felt you "couldn't swim" with the FOIS Speedy? Was it the strap? I understand they only have a 50M water rating, but that's more then enough for a casual swim here and there. I've never worried about any of the speedy's (admittedly mostly speedy pro's) over the years.
Anyway, love the AP and AL&S, they are stunning! |

Well thought out. But the question is what will you buy next?

Thanks for the comments.
Loved the Kermit but never wore it.. didn’t like the fit. Loved the FOIS but was apprehensive about swimming with it, despite having bought a vintage bracelet for it. Chronos, never timed anything. GMT is more useful for me. Someone mentioned Polaris, yes... the Omega will probably make room for one someday. What’s next? Not much, only thing I really want at this point is a Nautilus and a Polaris, I’ve flipped so many...

It’s not that I have a one Watch per brand rule, but I like variety.
Plus I’m lazy and don’t rotate much, so having more watches is not an option (no safe queens here). Where I live you can’t wear a Rolex at all times, that’s where the Omega comes in.

I think if you swapped the omega for a VC and added a Seiko diver you'd have the perfect collection.

I had a VC Overseas once, previous version though, the new one with the straps would be a great choice, no doubt!
