Pre ceramic daytona prices gone up?

Is it just me or have others noticed prices shot up for used SS Daytonas? I have been looking at pre-ceramic models and all seem to be in $14k - $20k range. I could swear a year ago I was seeing them in the $8k-$12k range.

Yip they have here. I sold mine just as they were discontinued, I recently told a work colleague what I had sold it at and he couldn’t believe how cheap I’d let it go and quoted the current price for used. And sure enough when I looked, as I doubted his numbers, if I’d kept it and was able to sell for top money we’re talking a difference of 4-5K

Doesn't make sense to me since even 5 years ago the MSRP was several thousand dollars less than that...

I am looking for an Explorer 2 and it seems to have shot up in price over the last 1-2 years as much as £2000.00
