Had the yellow and the white gold sub but they didn’t stick
I’m wondering those over 50 if the DD is the way to go...?

I am over 50 and while the DD is the pinnacle watch for some, it is not for me. I prefer the professional models. Maybe it is for you!

Do you have to be over 50 to wear a DD? Your question appears to assume so.

The day date is obviously a solid option if the sub doesn’t do it for you , heck a pm Skydweller is even up there if you want something beefier

My DDII was my first PM watch. I was 44 at the time. As a daily, it really depends what your daily activities include, but I could certainly where mine daily.

I like the platinum DD40 with black diamond dial. It looks like a sports watch, but has all the features of a pinnacle watch. YG says fuddy duddy to me.
