It’s finally here
Well All,
Shortly after the 15407 first came out I was in Vegas. Stopped by the boutique and low and behold they had a 15407 in Stainless. I was told it was pre-sold but the customer came in that morning and had decided to pass on it and it was available. I said let me think on it, I returned 35 minutes later to look at it again and it had been sold, I thought oh well. But the thing continued to haunt me in my dreams. I decided I wanted one and I wanted it badly. Well to my dismay the only way to get one was pay a super premium or wait. I thought the craving would pass, well it didn’t. I went to go get on a waitlist for one and was told that they were no longer allowing any additions to the waitlist. I called and visited three boutiques. When they finally reopened the waitlist I had made an impression at one of the boutiques, (bought a couple watches and showed pics of my collection) and was on the list. I asked if I prepay, does that help, I was told it does,... so I did. Still took over half a year on the waaitlist, but here it is. The watch must be seen in person it is truly spectacular. The movement and finishing make it a work of art, a three hand watch couldn’t be more spectacular. I love the way AP built this movement and the finishing is so over top. I love my most recent addition. It still has the plastic on it, as I need a link an a half and want to leave all the protection in place until it's in the bracelet. |

I had the chance to check out the 15407or yesterday - using a loupe no less - and fully agree that it needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. It looks fantastic in photos, but looks even better when seen live.
