AP 44mm roo forged carbon.
I can pick up a mint one for 24k... H serial. Any pros and cons for the watch? Can the forged carbon last 15 years with every day use? I Love that the watch is only 118 grams! Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Love forged carbon! Some of the earlier models had some issues with the edges wearing but I believe AP changed the resin and later models don’t seem have the issue. My early H series FC diver has around 6 years of almost daily use. It’s my beater watch and still looks new (other than the rubber crowns). Is held up much better than DSSD that was my daily beater before the diver. It’s the most comfortable watch I’ve ever owned and probably why it gets so much wrist time.

Ceramic hold it’s shape nicely until it’s chipped or crack.
FC doesn’t chip nor crack but does fray or dent. Both material are not refinishable and requires case swap if required. As cool as FC and Ceramic, I still prefer the traditional steel-based construction for main case. SS, Ti or RG. Imagine an Tantalum cased Offshore, that’s a killer |

No, it will still last as long as it’s not abused. Earlier example of FC cases show fraying however AP revised the resin formulation and seem like it’s fine there onward.
