Removing "protective plastics" (stickers) isn't stopping
Maybe Rolex thinks that this is genius to thwart the grey market or flippers, but it is not stopping anything. In fact it is not even impacting the prices for sought after pieces. The grey dealer just states, "Plastics or stickers removed by AD" and quotes the same prices as we have been seeing. Rolex. Nice try. What next? |

I reckon grey market dealers are the VIP customers ADs are always on about... the control should be over the AD and not the customer...

i still think it impacts prices negatively. Prices are up generally so one with stickers and one without i think sellers would ask slightly more for stickers. Holding warranty cards does not stop people flipping either. It just limits the amount of money that they can get for 12 months, since its not a full set.
