Lady Datejust Question
I am looking at a preowned Lady Datejust for my wife. There is one local to me that is in very good condition, recently polished, and can be authenticated by the local AD. The watch is exactly what she is looking for: TT Jubilee gold fluted bezel Champagne face with diamond markers. It is a 1991 model. Asking is $2500 which I think is a bit high for the age. Any recommendations on what I should offer? Is there anything I should watch out for with one this age besides service papers?
I appreciate your thoughts. Kevin |

US$2500- is a bargain. I paid US$2600- for an E serial number 69173 about 6 months ago.

$2500 is a fair retail WITHOUT the diamond dial, with the Diamond Dial you are getting a good deal retail. A clean SS goes for 2K easily you are getting a diamond dial TT for 2.5K.
Service papers... the service is only as good as the MOST RECENT service. |
