Happy Mother’s Day and incoming...
I got my wife a Hulk last year, but - as much fun as the Green Ghost is - I have been wanting to get her something more formal for some time.
When I last polled the forum on ideas (https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=560647), I was pretty underwhelmed by AP’s offerings for women. However, the smoke blue dial on the RO 33 (67651ip) really caught my eye and got me over thought of buying an AP with a quartz movement - so, after deciding to get her one of these pieces, Mother’s Day seemed as good a day as any to give it to her. Here are a couple of shots, but they do not begin to do justice to the dial, which is beautiful...and the TI and PT combination really adds to the texture of the piece.

Thanks for your good wishes. These are lovely watches and surprisingly easy to find - likely as a function of being quite expensive for a quartz watch. Still, my wife has sent me a few wrist shots already, so I think she’s really enjoying the piece! |
