Difference in color on seconds hand on YM 40 116622?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to purchase a preowned Yachtmaster 40 116622 and I'm a little confused on the difference in watches. Some of them have a red seconds hand while it looks like the brand new ones are blue. Is there a difference in the age or value of each of these or is it just a color preference?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Also, what would be a likely buy price for Great Condition, no box & papers, and -2 links?
