I’m curious, did you take those pictures or did someone send them to you?
Whenever I see such poor, low resolution pics I immediately assume someone is trying to hide something.

100% fake

The silver colored caseback, and the gold color coming (or discoloration)off of the case next to the caseback was a dead giveaway, amongst several other things.

I’m gonna say that there’s something off about it.

That bracelet only comes on the Day-Date, and this isn’t a Day-Date.

The crown has no emblem on it (idk if older models did not have emblems or what, but if I was looking at buying this watch, that surely would have thrown me off, and I would do more research)

The cyclops doesn’t seem to be magnifying the date by x2.5 like it should be.

Agree with your statement, it’s some photos that I saw on a local web site, uploaded by the seller & I don’t want to call him if it’s fake.

Not a Rolex bezel that I have ever seen. Case back appears to be SS. Not original parts at all.

Looks to have a 2 piece crown, the base and the emblem are separate pieces put together. Rolex never did it like that.

You can faintly see a marked crown if you look close, but still looks fake even with the grainy pictures. Steel case back, bad date magnification, hands seem wrong for the dial. Would have to see better picks to be sure.

I stand corrected. I didn’t see the marked crown as I looked over the pics the first time.

Good job

Like I said, no doubt the watch is in a pretty bad shape, but I wonder if i’ll get for a low price I could sent it for an overhaul. I realize that the bezel is not “made by Rolex”. The question is if other parts do.

What is the size on this watch? Is it a 31?

Rolex never did a steel case back on a gold watch. Looks suspect.

It looks like it's fake, however there could be a stainless steel case back and crown on a hold watch, while not originally fitted by Rolex the steel parts do fit a gold watch. So that is not necessarily the reason that it's fake.

I'd have to see good quality pictures of the whole watch and the movement.
