Royal wedding

Exceeded expectations. Meghan certainly knows how to make an entrance!

Nice to see something good for a change. Way too much negative stuff going on in Canada as of late.

I thought the funniest part was the sermon that went on and on about Love and then just as you thought it was over moved onto Fire.

You could see most of the older Royals weren't very impressed and didn't know what to think of it but all of the younger ones reacted as anyone would making eyes and giggling at one another. Not that there was anything wrong with it but I'd imagine it was very different to most or any other services they would normally go to. Even Charles was almost giggling at a couple of places as it went on and on

I always wanted to know what a $71,000 wedding cake looked like and it wasn't even large enough to feed the 600 guests

i made it around london in record time. Everyone was at home

Although the street parties made the return a bit tricky.

For some reason I was expecting one of those massive parades the British are so well known for, so I was a bit disappointed about that.

Otherwise, what little of it I saw was impressive, although I didn't watch any of the ceremony inside the cathedral.

there were massive street parties. In my section of London anyway. But, overall i thought the organized stuff was more low key than William and Kate's wedding. Plus it was in Windsor vs Westminster

I got sucked into the nonstop coverage this weekend at a couple points. I have to admit that I found it interesting and kind of touching. Meghan Markle seems like a genuinely smart and likeable person. I hope they are happy together.
