Switzerland summer vacation. Travel gurus enter...

I am going to Switzerland at the end of June with my family for a summer vacation. I have put together an itinerary, but am looking for some guidance/advice from anyone that has been to the country. Here are my tentative plans...

Saturday, June 23rd - fly into Munich, stay for 1 night
-stay at Hotel Schlicker

Sunday, June 24th - Malbun, Liechenstein for 1 night
-tour castles in Hohenschwangu
-stay at Hotel Turna

Monday, June 25th - Wengen, Switzerland for 3 nights
-stay at Hotel Belvedere
-need suggestions for these 3 days

Thursday, June 28th - Innsbruck for 1 night
-stay at Grand Hotel Europa
-any ideas for activities/stops on drive from Wengen to Innsbruck?

Friday, June 29th - Salzburg for 2 nights
-stay at Hotel am Dom
-Eagles Nest
-need ideas for other activities

Sunday, July 1st - go home

Sounds like an amazing trip!

I can help with part of it as I've been to Wengen several times (staying in lnterlaken). You are in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, beside the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains, so loads to do, from taking a trip on the lakes from Interlaken , to taking the train to the highest railway station in Europe, the Jungfraujoch

You'll have chairlifts, cable cars and funicular railways to chose from to get you about. I'd recommend buying a Swiss travel pass.

And of course, don't forget to take the cable cars from Murren to the revolving restaurant at the top of the Schilthorn, the Piz Gloria (better known as Blofeld's mountain top base infiltrated by Bond in "On Her Majesties Secret Service"

https://schilthorn.ch/en/Welcome

Murren is a ten minute walk from Wengen, so very easy to get to from where you are staying.

Everywhere is easily accessible, and can be done without paying for organised excursions, so don't feel you have to book a tour.

Yes, Schilthorn is a magic place!

If I where you, I‘d rent a car and do as many mountain passes as possible
