6536/1 thoughts?

Hi Everyone,

This piece popped up on my searches and depending if it has sold or not, I may have the chance to look at it in person - and depending on your thoughts will determine if I do so.

Now I am a little clueless on 'old' vintage rolex submariner (and only slightly less clueless on others >.< ) and would kindly ask for some help evaluating it.

The photos that are available are very poor and the seller states that the depth rating is in red. What are your thoughts? cold this be legitimate or is it fake fake fake?











If I do go to have a look, what things should I be checking, and are there any good resources that you could recommend to use to learn more about these early submariners?

Pictures are too poor to get a good look at the Dial,The Hands are for sure wrong as could be.IF the Dial is legit...A big if...It could be worth a Ton of Dough alone although it looks like lume is missing on some plots.

The hands are definitely wrong! :)

I haven't heard back from the seller so I think it may have been gobbled up already :(
