Incoming (pepsi)
Lot of talk about this in the other thread.
I have had lots of watches...5711...AP ROO, AP RO, half dozen rolex models or so. I've seen the uptick in ss watches and it's maddening. Bought from AD or Grey. Don't ask why I didn't pay premium for the new Daytona vs this. Not sure whether I'll even keep it or sell it or even take the stickers off. Maybe I bought it just to have one of the first in the US? While the pricing sucks, you can't deny that David is the best at what he does/is. Let the flames begin. |

Wait, so you are saying you are the one who purchased this from DavidSW yesterday?
Just confirming, absolutely no judgement here. |

Stone #1 - You bought “that” watch
Stone #2 - You stepped up and owned #1 You sir, have stones. I wouldn’t have done so, but can get behind a man with stones. Go hard or go home. E- |

Yes sir. And to clear the air he refused to put me on any list. I was driving and happened to check the app. Pulled over off the highway and used my car hotspot to order. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

IMHO, the only one deserving flames here is Rolex with its laughable, transparent, artificially imposed production limits on what should be regular collection, relatively available timepieces. More power to you and to David. Enjoy the piece or flip it, wear it or stick it in a safe for 30 years, it's yours and that's the beauty of private property. And congrats.

That's awesome! Thanks for coming here and sharing the story. And this debunks the theory some of us (including me!) had about this being pre-sold with David weeks in advance. Congrats on the new piece! |

How do we know it’s the first in the US because it was posted here? Maybe the first one to pay 2.5x retail
