New boots for the 233
Can't recommend Micah from vintager straps nearly enough. The guy does great work, the prices are reasonable and the man stands 100% behind his product.
And you gotta love the OEM Jules Verne strap. Little on the pricey side, but so cool and so comfy.

Looks great Daren! Can't speak highly enough about Micah! I saw a pic of him wearing a Panerai T-Shirt at a GTG. Emailed him about where he got it, and it turned out to be a custom job. He emailed me the image and where to design it yourself online. Great Guy.
The JV looks better and better every time I see it! |

Looks great.
If I went to the dark side, I would do it with the 233.

Darren, that green thread makes the strap! When I get my PAM I would like to have one of those. Do you mind sharing where you got it?
Thanks!

The maker is Micah, posts under Molex. Just a first class dude and good friend of mine. If you google "vintagerstraps.com" you should find his site.

I just got the same Strap I think Daren - Mauser with Green thread? You are right. Micah is great to deal with and he totally stands behind his work.
He also is great with his response - even on Thanksgiving! He is fast too. I really enjoy his straps. Pics soon!

I believe it is called the brindle with green stitch. Just ask him what he just made for dman and he should know. But I think that is what it is.

Looks good Daren. I cant believe that you still have the 233 :) If I jump back to Panerai, the 233 will probably be the one. I think the 233 is all anyone could want in a Panerai.

Looks fantastic, Daren! I love the 233!
I have one of Micah's brindle straps as well. Super soft, very comfortable. And as you mentioned, superb customer service (both he and Greg Stevens).

The 233 is a great looking watch. I like the green on the strap too
Lemme ask you a question bro, the 233 has to be the longest that you've had a watch, right

Outstanding combo bro. Micah is high on my list for my next strap. He has one that's a stone color (grey) that PAM 111 written all over it.

He is a great bloke to deal with. This Copperplate was one of my first and one of his last hand stitched straps.
