Daytona Dial change

Anyone have experience of this?

My lucky friend who has been waiting on the list longer than me has been offered a black dial daytona from the AD.

His question which i couldn't answer, is that can he ask the AD to swap the face for a white as he prefers that? Would ROlex do that?

Your help much appreciated.

...I'm still waiting for mine!

I understand that in the UK RSC will swap the dial FOC within the first month, that may seem like an urban myth but there are more than a few TRF members here in the UK that say its gospel

He / you could always give St James Square a ring & let us all know one way or another 020 7024 7300

Thanks for the steer Chris

Spoke to RSC London just now.

They said that the dial can be exchanged at a cost of £125.

They retain the old dial, and there is no FOC element applicable in the 1st month.

The 3mths is via the supplying dealer. If you speak to St James directly they will say £120 + VAT, if you go via the supplying AD, they should eat the cost and do it FOC for the first 3 mths.

But if he doesn't want a black, I know a man who does ;)

Now why can't Rolex USA do the same? You have better luck asking for a kidney transplant from them.
