First Rolex
Hello all, Rolex newbie here, I have been reading the forum items for a long time and have found your individual experiences and expertise to be really helpful. I thought I'd share a pic of my own first Rolex which I picked up yesterday, a brand new ss submariner and am really thrilled with. I had a choice of this or a black ss GMT date but kept being drawn back to the understated beauty of this sub. It feels solid, looks stunning and sounds like Swiss perfection inside! Best wishes.

Great call! You will love your sub so congratulations. If your anything like me (well most on this forum) at some point you will want to add another. Going with the sub over the black GMT makes sense because now you can opt for the GMT with a colored bezel down the road and it will provide variety. For now though just enjoy wearing your new sub!
