Fantastic dinner in Decatur (Atlanta) last night

At the White Bull.

Food, drinks, atmosphere and service all top notch.

It gets the c41006 seal of approval.

Negroni

Oaxacan Peach cocktail - Mezcal, peach, tattersall orange crema, lemon.

Potatoes, gribiche, jalapeños, spruce tips

Elotes, chili-espresso aoli, feta, lime, peanuts

Gemelli, chanterelles, shallots, porcini

White corn mafalde, shrimp, jalapeño, corn, tomato, mint

Amberjack, squash, yogurt, tomato, dill, chimichurri

Dessert was a Vietnamese coffee inspired “brownie sundae”

That's my hood. White Bull just opened recently, so hopefully they do well. By the way, one of the ten best beer pubs in the world is literally next door, Brickstore. I hope you stopped in!

I hope they do well also. Definitely check them out if you haven’t already.

I’ve never been to Brickstore although I’ve heard many great things. I’m not much of a beer drinker though.

On a side note I can’t believe Cakes + Ale closed down! Just found out yesterday as I was walking by and saw the sign on the door.

I could have had a triple portion of dessert and been perfectly happy

I’m quite the opposite I’d rather not have dessert so I have room for more “real food”
