Blue Skydweller or New James Cameron????

So if you had to part with either the blue skydweller or the new jame Cameron 126660 which one would you keep and why? Anyone would hold more value in the long run? Tell me what you think.

I don't know about value retention.

But I have the original version the D-blue and the Mk II dialed DSSD and they are not going anywhere.
If I had to choose between a 126660 D-blue and the Blue Skydweller I wouldn't hesitate to flick the 126660 D-blue as i'm not particularly a big fan.

Now if only I could get my hands on that Blue Skydweller
I would be further down the track toward my contribution to the boycott

If I had the wrist for it I’d keep the DSSD.

Both watches will be in short supply for some time, and guessing they will both sell via grey market for a slight premium for a while

Both great watches, and don't see either losing value

The SkyDweller complication is only just over a year now in SS, while who really needs a 12,800 feet diving watch...maybe grab the first one you can, and flip it for the other if you don't like it

Love my 126660 d-blue wouldn’t trade for Sky D. But the blue Sky D has a much bigger mark up in the grey space at the moment so that speakers to the current market.

I would trade my SD43 for a blue Sky Dweller but that’s because I could still have the DSSD.

Tough choice. I have an original deep sea blue and love it. I guess having both would be the ideal situation, if it were only feasible to drop that much coin at once. Both are awesome. But I'm partial to the deep sea blue.

I vote for the Sky D, especially in blue. I think it’s a great watch.

I like both watches and I guess I would have to figure the money into it. What did you pay based on what can you get. With that information I would then see if I wanted to move one. I prefer the DSSD JC over the Sky-Dweller but that is just me and one could easily prefer the other.

That’s a tough one as the blue sky dweller is gorgeous.

However I have an original 116660 JC and would I swap that for a blue sky dweller? No, so that probably tells you my opinion.

Value retention wise, they’re both strong, but I’d say the JC be more of a classic .

For me, Deepsea would be the keeper. The 126660 would be the last one standing in my collection if I had to sell them all.

The SKyD appeals to a certain lifestyle. It's not the watch I would take everywhere or do everything in, it is incredibly beautiful and useful but I don't work in an office. Now the D-Blue is almost the same as some may say it doesn't dress up in suits well and it is a bit heavy.
But I chose the D-Blue, I can do more with it and the dial is more appealing. I don't care about investment potential, I buy my watches now to keep and enjoy.

Easy, keep SS SkyD blue because JC's 44mm size is just too big for my wrist. The JC is a truly great timepiece, yet the SkyD has some awesome complications that are very useful during world travels... and is soooo easy to set too!

SkyD keeper FTW IMHO
