YG Daytona on Oysterflex: Which dial do you prefer?

I'd like to gauge the popularity and desirability between these two different dials of the same watch. Thank you for your inputs. Please feel free to comment.

116518LN with Black dial with Diamond markers ($29,450)

or

116518LN with Champagne dial ($27,500)

Neither. I find it outrageous for Rolex to charge that MSRP without providing a PM bracelet. It should at least be an option in the box (like how Omega provides both braclet and strap with the Speedy).

That's somewhat true, my friend. But I already have several PM Rolexes on bracelets. So, I'm thinking to get one on a rubber strap, this time. I've heard that these Oysterflex straps are very comfortable. Please just choose between these two poll options.

Loved the champagne dial when I tried it on couple times before.
Personally, torn between champagne YG and WG OF.

The black dial looks more sporty but I don’t like the diamonds. The champagne gives it the full gold look to compensate the lack of bracelet.

Champagne dial without a doubt, the sunburst on that one is mesmerising.

It is not outrageous at all, if it was on a bracelet it would be priced £7-8K more so it is priced just right.

Champagne with YG.

I like both of those but I think the YG with champagne dial is the best looking of all the OF Daytonas, depends how bling you want to be.

I prefer the champagne dial as it stands out more and is more legible.

Tough one for me. I wish there was an option 1 without diamonds. In you scenario, I'll have to say option 2.

Really don’t understand this argument. A full gold Rolex is around $38k list BNIB. $27-28k BNIB is a significant discount to this price. The scrap value of a gold bracelet is $5k max, so why not complain about the list of full PM watches? Let’s be honest, Rolex’s margins are absurd on every model, if that’s the criteria you use to buy a watch, there’s nothing in the Rolex catalog that will work.

I don’t see nearly as many people complaining about a ridiculously overpriced $20k SS Daytona. In fact, when you compare that watch to the oysterflex models, the few k premium for gold seems reasonable.

At the end of the day, however, buy what you love, not what you consider to be a good deal.

I vote champagne. I still think the best PM combo on OF in this model... the WG steel dial

Don’t care for the diamonds, and the champagne dial looks good with the black sub-dials.

I do agree it’s absurd these don’t have bracelets but that’s not what you asked.
