OMG first scratch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (j/k)

What should I do. I can't believe it, my (new?) gmt is now ruined!!!!!! Nah, not really. I do have some pics of the damage for everyone, and also a question. (No, not how to remove the scratch, that's been beaten to death as a topic). I have seen others posting something close to this, but my question is thus. Who on here doesn't handle their rolex with kid gloves? Now I am not advocating bashing or purposefully trying to destroy a fine timepiece, but seriously some of the posts here and elsewhere? Can I get it wet, will x y or z mess it up, how hot or cold, will a toothbrush scratch it, ad naseum. One of the primary reason I have aspired to a rolex is that it is a watch that I can wear, and if I can take it then so can the watch. It can handle even more immersion, extremes of temperature, chemicals, and abrasion than my body ever can. That being said, here is some of the dings, scratches, and love marks on my new gmt. This watch has now chopped wood, fired quite a few rounds from a firearm, been boiled in a hottub and shower, frozen sorting through a freezer, vibrated like crazy running a leaf blower, been covered with construction debris from an ongoing kitchen renovation and dropped twice. After all of this it has lost only 17 seconds from synching it with the atomic clock in my house 3 weeks ago. Bravo rolex for STILL making such a tough, yet luxurious product.

Of course the clasp has caught the most abuse, gouges, scratches, and swirls.

But in some places, the bracelet looks like it was attacked by knife-wielding maniacs.

When you move back just slightly though, you see only the genius in design, and all of the small problems dissappear.

Of course the most important part of all is that even with all of the above it STILL SMILES on your wrist.

Thanks for reading, and wear 'em in health guys, whether you baby them or use them.
