I think it just depends on the market. I’m in a major city and the two biggest ADs said that good customers that are added to the list as of now shouldn’t expect one this year. I have heard some ADs a little bit further out of the city had a bit shorter lists. From what I understand it initially flew a bit under the radar with all the Pepsi hype and has been picking up steam from a request standpoint as is seems a decent amount of people were waiting to see what they looked like in person (which is what won me over). In full disclosure I am biased but I think this one is going to be a hit as more people see them out in the wild.

Mine was the only one my AD expected to see this year and expect it to be a low production piece. They said the guy who was behind me might not see his until 2019. I'm in a small market.
My guess is that those who aren't #1 on small AD lists will be pushed out to next year. But, that's just a guess. |

I wasn't on a list, but was offered one by my AD. Probably, a consolation prize because my chances of seeing a BLRO within the next 2 years is slim to none. I passed, and it was sold the next day.

I put my name on one at a new AD and got the call on the first. But turned it down. I think it’s easy to get.

At my AD in Canada there is no wait list for this reference at all. 1 did come in that I tried on but just purchasing my YM 2 months earlier I wasn't ready to buy at that point. It was sold already but no list for the next one.

I don’t think lists were long to begin with and to your point some may not have any. ADs I have spoken to have said that interest has been growing of late since it had flown a bit under the radar but the bigger issue that would potentially impact wait times, which someone else mentioned and I was told as well, is that the bigger ADs expect to get one maybe two at best this year. So you may be number one on the list but if they already got their fulfillment for the year and sold it you could still be waiting a while. But who really knows. It seems like speculating Rolex supply is a fools errand. I would just advise if you have any interest get on a list now so you at least have the opportunity to try on and have the right of first refusal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
