Shall I flip it for the Hulk ?

I bought the Datejust 41 blue dial fluted a month ago.

I flipped my Hulk which I had for 5 years against a brand new TT GMT which I gifted to my dad.

In the mean time I have been missing my Hulk dearly. Didn’t realise I would miss that green dial so much.

I came across a dealer that is happy to take my Datejust 41 and sell me a brand new HULK.
I do have to give 2k in euros which seems reasonable considering the prices now.

Shall I flip it ? Is it a good deal ?

Sadly I think the desire to get one back won't just go away. If you truly feel this way and don't mind the terms of the deal, go for it. You only live once! Also, of you do end up getting one again don't flip it!

Sounds like you are getting a good value on the DJ. I’d say yes, flip for hulk and can always circle back to the DJ without as many problems. The longer you own the DJ you’ll likely
get lower value. (At that point PM and I’ll buy it for the big discount lol)

There is no way I would flip a Rolex DJ for a comic book character, could be tempted for a Rolex 116610LV though.

Personal choice. Love the blue dial on the SS SkyD. As a bit of fyi.... Have been teetering between the SkyD blue and Hulk as true daily beaters. Hulk is winning due to being a bit lighter / more balanced on the wrist. JMHO YMMV

Seems reasonable for the trade. Don't think too much, go get it. Think later over a nice dinner as you stare at the dial.

Your DJ41 is a great watch, just seems boring compared to the green diver.

Since you don't need the watch, I'd offer him $1800 euro in cash and take your family out for a nice dinner with the meager savings.
