Advice needed
Hello, I read here occasionally, but not sure if I've ever posted.
I am thinking of purchasing a pre-owned ladies Rolex. Based on looks only, I like the no-date 76183 with oyster band and factory diamond silver dial with domed bezel. The one I looked at was ~ 2005. I also like a Cellini model that I saw, but not sure about this one. I see comments about low resale value. What is your best advice to buy or stay away from? Is there a certain year I should not buy, not older than, etc. (thinking of difficulty getting parts if needing repair)? I'm assuming all original is best with no aftermarket bands, dials, etc. Thanks! |

i suggest you buy the newest rolex you can afford.
no problem with service and parts at rsc. just my two cents is to buy new and get the warranty.

If you like the ca. 2005 model, get that one. At 13 years old, you may want to ask about service history, and if uncertain, factor in the cost of that to your purchase...and compare to a newer model, as Eliot suggested.
