Skydweller Croco strap with deployment clasp

Question: I know most skydwellers only come with the oyster bracelet, however some specifically the white gold versions mostly with arabic numbers came with a crocodile strap and deployment clasp. Has anyone with a SS entertained a crocodile strap or have pictures of what black croco would look with a stainless strap?

Also, Would the crocodile strap from a Daytona 20mm fit a skydweller which is a large diameter face?

At least the Rolex version from it won't fit (the PM strap will not fit on the SS version visa versa).

Anyhow, I would love to see some pics, too! I think that the white SS SkyD would look awesome on a brown or black croco strap!!!

SS SkyD is 22mm between the lugs, PM SkyD is 21mm and Daytona is 20mm.

You could source a croc strap in 22mm width that utilises the SS bracelet’s deployant (there’s no “ment” btw) clasp (or another type) but the PM SkyD straps won’t work.

You can say that, but it doesn't change how plenty of companies who actually make the part in question use the English word rather than the French for it. And Rolex themselves just call it a "clasp."

I was in Dubai a couple of weeks ago and in one of the Rolex boutiques they had the new SS Skydweller with the blue face on a blue leather strap.

That option is not shown on the Rolex website so don't know where the strap was from but it looked really nice.

Are you sure it was the SS version? https://davidsw.com/product/rolex-32...ith-blue-dial/

That must have been beautiful. I really like the Sky-D -- I wish I had bigger wrists so I could wear it as the dressy-ish piece I'd want it to be.

Question -- Are the Sky-D endlinks on the strap models like the ones on Daytonas, where removing them leaves a bit of a gap in the case under the bezel? Removing them would presumably make the watch wear a little bit smaller.

*edit* Yeah, no WG options on strap show up for me on the Rolex site (in the U.S.). I suppose it's not a surprise that it's available, though.
