Incoming Datejust 36mm
So I have spent the last months deciding what watch to buy next. It will be used as my every day beater in rotation with my other Datejust. I have considered everything from Explorer II, GMT-Master II to Oyster Perpetual and a few Tudor's, Omega's, Jaeger LeCoultre and IWC's. However I landed on the Datejust 36mm with oyster bracelet, smooth bezel, blue stick dial and roulette date wheel. I figured it would compliment my Datejust 36mm with super jubilee bracelet, fluted bezel, white tapestry dial and roulette date wheel, as they would be the complete opposite of each other, while still from the same Rolex line. So walking in to my tiny local AD to see what options they had, they told me they only have one Datejust in stock. And guess what, it was exactly this one.
TL;DR: Purchased new 36mm Datejust, very happy!

Great looking piece, love the grid around the dial that these smaller models have.

Thanks
I now see the tittle says 39mm for some reason. I have no clue what I was thinking, it should be 36mm

I have never actually measured it before. But I just did with a piece of paper and it seems like it is 7 inches.

It is very nice, works great. I actually use it at the moment to get a little more slack.

Nice pair. That's about as different as one can get with 36mm Datejusts with batons.

The title had me a bit concerned, however after reading the post I'm happy for ya. The dressy DJ and the casual DJ, congrats!
