Any regrets going with a Jubilee?
I'm thinking of flipping for or adding a DJ as my collection is very professional & oyster model heavy.
Anyone ever gone the jubilee route on a DJ and later regretted it wishing they got an oyster instead? Thoughts and opinions. Thanks in advance. |

DJ = jubilee + fluted bezel. (can lock thread now, thanks).
All seriousness, I can't add value as I only have the Oyster bracelet, but just my .02. |

Im a huge fan of the fully hidden clasp on my DJ36, but I will admit that having zero adjustability to compensate for small changes in wrist size can be uncomfortable. I cant imagine why Rolex didnt include at least one of the 1.25x links with the watch.

I have an older jubilee that I really like. Want a new one, but want to wait until the updated clasp comes out on the WG bezel. I think I will like the new jubilee more than the old with its easy link extension.

On a DJ the jubilee bracelet is the better choice IMO. I've owned 5 DJs so far and never once considered the oyster. My reasons were (1) simply looks better; (2) does not show scratches as easily; (3) more comfortable. The introduction of the easylink clasp on the DJ41 and on the latest TT 36mm adds just one more reason to go jubilee.

If I was to add a DJ, it would be on Jubilee. Not entirely sure if fluted or smooth bezel but I know I would avoid the Oyster bracelet since I already have them brushed and with PCLs so a change would be good.

Has to be jubilee on DJ. I have DJ2 with oyster which is ok but nothing compares to comfort of my 16233 witb jubilee. I have tried DJ41 with jubilee and its very comfortable also. I am sure one day in the future i will add another DJ and i will make sure its on jubilee

If I ever got a DJ, it would have to be on a Jubilee. I prefer the look of the president bracelets more than I do the Jubilee, but I don't own either... (yet)

I think the jubilee is more comfortable on the DJ as well as on the professionals.
I have a Jubilee for my 16710 GMT and like it more then the oyster.

I think the oyster bracelet gives it a younger more sporty look vs the jubilee so I think it comes down to will this watch be for dress only or more all-around & casual? To me the oyster works much better with shorts and tshirt

Nope, no regrets. The Oyster might be a bit sturdier but the Jubilee is more comfortable.

I really do not care for the look of the Jubilee, wears nice though.

Just received a DJ41 and Jubilee was a must for me - Love it.
Jubilee is a classic old-school look IMO. Only wish the center links weren't polished. Still wish for a spare Oyster bracelet to dress it down on occasion. I'm told Rolex won't allow buying/selling just a bracelet - Bummer. |

Have both for my 16803 and 16570. This gives me the option to have whatever appeals to me on any given day.

I'm struggling with this too. And maybe the lighting in the AD makes it worse, but here is what I'm thinking...
- DJ41 Fluted with Oyster because Fluted and Jubilee and just too much of a light show. I wonder how this combo is in the real world. - DJ36 Fluted with Jubilee. The slightly smaller size is a little more subdued. |

I got both oyster and Jubilee bracelet. I prefer the Jubilee over the oyster. On my wrist it sits better, I think that is because the jubilee links are much smaller then the oyster links, so because of that they can form an even better circle form then an oyster bracelet. I also have the super jubilee and love it. However the great thing about the oyster bracelet is the oyster micro adjustment. That is a great feature.
But if I could only have one I would without a doubt choose the jubilee.

Jubilee definitely more comfortable , but I found it would pull on my wrist hair a lot more than oyster does. No one else has this issue??

Neither have the oyster bracelet for that matter. However I have had watches from other brands where it seems like the sole function of the bracelet is to pull out every wrist hair I got.

Ive had my DJ41 for six months now, and its my first Jubilee. I absolutely love it. Im also heavy on sports models. This is such a contrast to the Oyster.
