Monogamy...yes? No?
Hi all,
I own a ceramic sub (ND) & a 41 DJ RG TT, sundust dial on a jubilee bracelet. I bought them new. The DJ was for a special occasion (the sub..I just couldn’t resist). I love wearing them both, though lately I find my self wearing the dj much more. I was thinking about the option of flipping them both for a 36 WG DD with rhodium dial & roman numerals. Flip if you must until you find the keeper. Me, I have two years invested in my current watch and will keep it now, I took the stickers off when new and have my marks all over it, its mine now forever. I couldn't bring myself to start again with another watch.

Sure why not; you still will have to add cash to the deal I suspect. It's a good time to sell the sub; DJs tend to take a hit, perhaps even more so for TTs.

I would hold off unless you were super into the WG...it looks like you have a perfect two watch collection now.

I love the day date but I think your current lineup of watches gives you more options. If possible i'd keep both and save up for the day date. Maybe even go for a YG one instead of WG.

I really love the RG DD with the olive dial and the roman numerals. And although I don’t worry about what people say about my watches, I have a certain block regarding red gold flashlight on my wrist (I realize that 99% don’t know or don’t care). But theres something about that WG that is more subtle and more all-round,that is equally dress and sporty timepiece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
