Tag Heuer problems since service.
Hi all,
Looking to get some help/advice on my current situation with Tag Heuer. I have an Aquaracer automatic chronograph cap2110 which I owned from new since 2012. I decided back in March to send the watch away for a full service, despite having had no issues with the watch for almost 6 years. The watch came back from the service looking amazing and I was pleased with the results. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks the watch started running about 10 mins fast every hour and the crown jammed when I tried to reset the time. The watch was sent back under the service guarantee and was again returned to me 4 weeks later working well. This time the watch lasted 2 weeks until the same issue appeared again. The watch went back to the service centre again and is still there now. 5 months so far without a working watch. I called there customer service centre today to complain but found them very unhelpful and patronising. I was told there was no physical issue with the watch and the problem was it becoming magnetised. I find it strange that it was fine for 6 years and the minute it goes for a service it's becoming magnetised! I don't know enough about the inner workings of the watch so was hoping that someone with a bit of know how, might be able to point me In the direction of the problem? I'd also like to hear from anyone with experiences with the tag service centres? Thanks in advance Andy. Sent from my WAS-LX1 using Tapatalk |
